This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made on CityMallIndia ("Platform", "we", "our", "us"). By placing an order on CityMallIndia, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Return Policy
We want our customers to have a smooth and satisfactory shopping experience. Returns are accepted subject to the conditions mentioned below.
1.1 Eligibility for Returns
A product may be eligible for return if:
- It is damaged, defective, or expired at the time of delivery
- It is incorrect or different from what was ordered
- It is missing parts or accessories
1.2 Return Conditions
- The return request must be initiated within the return window mentioned on the product page (generally 7 days from delivery unless stated otherwise).
- The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
- Original packaging, tags, labels, manuals, and invoices must be intact.
- Certain items such as innerwear, personal care products, perishables, or customized products may not be eligible for return due to hygiene or regulatory reasons.
1.3 Return Process
- Customers can request a return through their CityMallIndia account or by contacting customer support.
- Once the return request is approved, pickup will be arranged or return instructions will be shared.
- Returned products are subject to inspection and verification.
CityMallIndia reserves the right to reject a return if the product does not meet the return conditions.
2. Refund Policy
Refunds are processed after successful inspection and approval of returned products or in cases of order cancellation.
2.1 Refund Modes
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during purchase.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be processed via bank transfer or store credit, as applicable.
2.2 Refund Timeline
- Once approved, refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days.
- The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
2.3 Partial Refunds
- Partial refunds may be issued in cases where only some items from an order are returned.
- Shipping or convenience fees may be non-refundable unless the return is due to an error from CityMallIndia or the seller.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Order Cancellation by Customer
- Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped or dispatched.
- Once the order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
- Cancellation requests can be made through the "My Orders" section or by contacting customer support.
3.2 Order Cancellation by CityMallIndia
CityMallIndia reserves the right to cancel orders in the following situations:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or listing errors
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Failure to complete payment
In such cases, the full order amount will be refunded to the customer.
4. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
Certain products may not be eligible for return or refund, including but not limited to:
- Innerwear, lingerie, and personal hygiene products
- Cosmetics and personal care items once opened
- Perishable goods
- Customized or made-to-order products
- Digital products or services (if applicable)
Such exclusions will be clearly mentioned on the product page.
5. Exchange Policy
- Exchanges are subject to product availability and seller policies.
- If an exchange is not possible, a refund may be initiated as per this policy.
